A jump from a spring-board, books falling from the bottom up, a sudden burst of a display glass – In the June edition of CAPRI BY NIGHT*, the camera seems to be taken in a hostage or at least to be trapped. The selected films focus on perception or reflect on their own parameters as material and framing. The tendency towards reducing the medium to a few elements becomes most obvious at the end of the looped one hour program, where it literally reaches the edge of the frame.
